The untreated parquet surface is brushed lengthwise to its texture with a special brush. The soft wood components are removed with this procedure and the stronger parts such as branches and grain are further maintained. That way the special wood structure is emphasized and a natural surface feel is produced.

The special feature of this varnish is its super matte effect which gives the floor a very natural look. The gloss level is especially regulated so that the floor looks similar to a natural oiled, super matte parquet surface but without losing the advantages of a varnished surface, such as the fast and easy cleaning.

Natural oil gives flooring an open-pored protection. This type of treatment creates a matte, very atural looking surface, whereby the structure of the wood is enhanced. Even though the surface is treated, the parquet can continue to breathe – absorbing and emitting air nearly unimpeded. This
has a positive effect on the atmosphere indoors. However, an oiled floor requires more care than sealed surfaces. Apart from regular cleaning, it should also be treated with parquet oil at least once a year. However, treatment intervals depend greatly on how much wear and tear the floor is exposed to and may be significantly shorter. Nevertheless, repairing a scratched, oiled parquet floor is much easier than repairing one with a varnished surface. Separate areas can be sanded easily and can then be newly oiled. It is also possible to reapply oil to high traffic areas.

Our UV-oil is applied in a process involving several coats to protect parquet floors and it is hardened by UV light. UV-oil does not penetrate the wood but remains on the surface of the parquet similar to a varnish. Scratches and minor damage can be repaired with a special repair kit for UV-oils but are easier to identify than with natural oil. Maintenance is easier than with natural oil and can be carried out using approved care products.

This procedure is a combination of a brushed parquet element and a colored surface. The wood structure is emphasized by brushing and indentions occur which are filled with colored varnish or oil. This effect gives your parquet flooring a unique look that emphasizes the individual texture of each element.
